About us
A place to land.
Wellness Collective Yoga was born from a simple belief — that slowing down together is one of the most radical things we can do.
Our story
How we began
After working in a stressful construction business for over 12 years, I found it hard to find places where I could practice yoga, meet some new people and sit for a while with a cup of tea. After a wonderful yoga retreat in Portugal I decided to create a place to do just that.
We opened our studio doors in 2026 with one guiding question: what would a yoga studio feel like if it were designed first for belonging, and second for practice? The answer is what you find here — unhurried classes, familiar faces, and always moments of connection.
What we believe
Our values
Slowness is a practice
We resist the urge to rush. In class, in conversation, in the way we build community — we believe the pace of nature is the right pace.
Everyone belongs here
Yoga is not a performance. We welcome every body, every age, every level of experience. There is no wrong way to show up.
Community over class count
We measure success not in memberships but in neighbors who become friends. The studio is a gathering place first.
Ritual matters
The tea after class, the quiet before, the familiar greeting at the door — small rituals create the feeling of home.
Our philosophy
“We are not trying to build the biggest studio. We are trying to build the best neighborhood.”
Every decision we make — from the classes we offer to the tea we brew — is guided by one question: does this help our neighbors feel more at home in their own lives? We think it does.
